The Metochia in Kassandra

On this peninsula the Monastery possessed two basic dependencies: that of Aghioi Theodoroi, also known as the “land of the Lions” ²⁹, and that of Aghios Dimitrios³⁰. The former was most probably located in the Aghios Nikolaos area of Aghia Paraskevi. The latter lay between the modern villages of Athytos and Kassandreia and the abandoned Kremmydi³¹. It appears that these metochia were lost by the Monastery in 15th century³².
