The Skete of Provitsa in the Prefecture of Prachova

This skete was erected in the 17th century (before 1649) by the priest-monk Germanos²⁷. In 1704 it was already a metochi of Vatopaidi²⁸. It was rebuilt in 1834-1835 as the church of the village of Upper Provitsa and was renovated in 1889.
