Holy Communion is a sacrament of humility. I don’t mean the humiliation of the Lord’s sacrifice on the Cross, but something else. The tiny contents of a small spoon are Christ Himself, our great God, the all-powerful Creator of the universe. This is an astonishing event that demands great faith and stability.
