After his arrival, the Patriarch of Moscow entered Saint George’s church at the Patriarchate, where he venerated the icons.
Immediately thereafter, he went into the throne room, where he and the Ecumenical Patriarch made statements.
At least 15 Russian television crews recorded the event and dozens of photographers were present at the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
