THESSALONIKI, 12 – 15 MAY 2014. MEETING OF THE I.A.O.

The joint meeting of the I.A.O. (Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy) International Secretariat and Committee Chairpersons is helding in Thessaloniki, 12 – 15 May 2014.

In the framework of the activities of the I.A.O. International Secretariat a conference – seminar with subject: “Christianity – Orthodoxy and the media in modern world”, will be held in Thessaloniki, 12 – 15 May 2014, with reference to the field of church news and information and good practices of their dissemination.
The conference is called to highlight existing views and reflections on the topics, as well as pinpoint type of news of the religious field transmitted via the media, the regulations and ethics, while considering issues of worship and new technologies. The second day of the conference will focus on seminar discussions on relevant issues of interest.
