He doesn’t need them

God doesn’t need our prayers! He knows what we need even before we ask for it. He generously gives His mercy even to those who don’t ask for it. It’s us who need prayer. Because prayer is what unites us to God. Without it, we’re separated from God. The more we pray, the closer we come to God.
