You won’t get anywhere

If you want to set someone on the right path, to teach and advise them, you must first speak to them with great love. They’ll accept your advice, because they’ll realise it’s given with love. But if you aim to get whatever you want, come what may, you won’t achieve anything. That’s the way to build up resistance in a child. If a child is disobedient, the answer isn’t to beat them.
