When wicked thoughts come to you, don’t try to get rid of them by opening a rational dialogue with them. Smash them on the Rock. The Rock is Christ. His name. The Jesus Prayer. It’s not up to us whether we accept them or not. Wicked thoughts are dismissed only through the name of Jesus.
