Labor in vain

Christ alone is the true light, the peerless light, the paramount light, the life-giver. And yet, people have abandoned the light to search in vain for other lights which will, supposedly, bring them joy. Those who follow the light of truth are the children of light, offspring of the Church, clad in light. The point of departure for the new life as children of God is the all-holy will of our all-good God.
