They’re in an unhealthy state

The only path to sanctity is that of repentance. Repentance is experienced through the implementation of God’s commandments. People who are enslaved to sin are in an unwholesome and unnatural state. The course of treatment they have to follow if they’re to return to their natural state, if they’re to find their ‘ancient beauty’, consists, for the most part, in the way of life of the hesychast Orthodox tradition.
