Adorn your lamps with virtues. Strive to expel the passions of the soul. Cleanse your heart of all defilement and keep it pure, so that the Lord can come and dwell within you and that the Holy Spirit can inundate you with divine gifts. Let this be the whole of your concern and occupation. Let this be your aim and ceaseless desire. Pray to God for it.
