That’s how things are

We can’t reject God, because, in order to deny something, we have to be powerful enough to get rid of it. Then we could boast of our disbelief, when God really doesn’t exist, when we’ve destroyed him. Even if we reject him, says Saint Paul, God remains faithful. So where’s our rejection if that’s how things stand? The rejection lies in the violation of the commandment.
