It debases and destroys

Sin is the only ‘unnatural’ thing in human nature and that of the world. Alien, foreign, extraneous, criminal, murderous and lethal- that’s what sin is in each of us. But in its destructive force, sin is something even worse than all that. What? In its essence, in its action, it’s identical to the devil, since it, too, despoils, corrupts and devastates.
