Are you fasting? Prove it through your works. What works? If you see somebody poor, give alms. If you see an enemy, reconcile. If you see a beautiful woman, pay her no heed. Don’t fast only with the mouth, but with your eyes, your hearing, your hands and feet and all the members of your body.
