‘Lord, be lenient towards us in this holy season. May tears flow to You from the heart, to wash away our spiritual stains and to cultivate Your holy commandments. Fasting worthily in this way, may we please You and may You grant all of us to see Your all-hallowed Passion. Through the prayers of Your Apostles who save the world. Glory to You’.
