Online Theological Conference: The Message of Orthodoxy to Modern People

On the occasion of the feast of the Sunday of Orthodoxy, the 1st Sunday of the Fast,  the Saint Maxim the Greek Institute and Pemptousia are organizing a Theological Online Conference on 21 March, at 7 p.m. Athens Time (12:00 Eastern) at which the spiritual leader of the Orthodox world, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, His Eminence Ierotheos, Metropolitan of Nafpaktos and Ayios Vlasios, His Eminence Ieronymos, Metropolitan of  Larissa, Elder Efraim, Abbot of the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopaidi on the Holy Mountain, Archimandrite Zacharias of the Holy Monastery of Saint John the Baptist, Essex, George Mantzaridis,  Professor emeritus, A. U. Th., and Professor Symeon Paskhalidis, A. U. Th. will explore the theological content of the feast and will focus on the therapeutic nature of Orthodoxy for people today, through the salutary work of the Orthodox Church.

Taking part in the discussion which will follow will be clergy and laity from various parts of the world.

Professor Paskhalidis will moderate.
