Hesychasm isn’t only for monastics and those who’ve renounced the world; it’s for every true Christian. Hesychasm is an inner state. It’s ‘dwelling constantly in God and in purity of mind’. Hesychasm is the way in which the space of the heart is revealed, the center of human existence, what we call the person.
