Magnificent as a phoenix

What a beautiful, what a precious creation is the human person. Gifted, and as magnificent as a phoenix. We are the most perfect creatures ever made and, as the image and temple of God, ought to have been alien to anything unclean. If only all the foul, wicked and blasphemous thoughts and all doubts and lack of belief would disappear from within us.
