They didn’t give up

The saints are necessary in our life. This is why we should read their lives carefully and frequently. We should love the saints. Honor them. Imitate them. Ask for their help and intercessions. Be friends with them. So that they’ll accompany us, and help us in our impotence, in our difficulties. So that they won’t allow us to become disappointed, to despair over our weaknesses. They also had a host of difficulties. They weren’t discouraged. They never gave up.
