Humbly and tirelessly

If we are to put into practice the teaching of the Gospel, to follow the path of Christ, we must humbly and tirelessly shoulder our cross, not cursing it, but blessing it. Only then can we keep Christ’s command to deny ourself by taking up our cross and following him. The road we follow is long, about which the Lord said that the path to the kingdom of heaven is strait and has its beginning at a narrow gate.
