The problem people have, from which all other difficulties arise, is the disruption of the relationship between us and God. The fall of humankind and our apostasy, which distorted our nature and made us able to pass on the disease like an infection to all the descendants of Adam, is what made people enemies of God. So when Christ became human, he broke down the barricade of enmity and became peace for us.
