Orthodox sentiment and the Orthodox conscience accept and recognize only the saints as edifiers and teachers; and only sanctity as illumination and true instruction. The hunger and thirst of our soul is very profound, deeper than is believed by many of our intellectuals, and no-one can satisfy them except Christ and his saints.
