They never lose it

The souls of those who’ve become friends with God are at peace, rejoice, and are glad, because they’re able to be in a relationship and communion with him. For such people, the wilderness becomes paradise, isolation luxury, and silence fluency in many languages. Their heart becomes a spring from which flow peace and joy. Wherever they go, whatever befalls them, they never lose their own peace. In other words, these people confirm that this peace which God has given them has become their permanent delight and enjoyment.
