Here’s a gift for you

God forgives easily, because he loves us and wants our salvation. ‘Here’s a gift for you’, he says. He’s prepared to forgive our debt. He sacrificed himself for the sake of our salvation, even though we’re sinners. This demonstrates his great love. And he says: ‘Love your enemies’, because they’re also his children. Evil is overcome by good.
