Simply be glad

We have to learn to love without expecting anything in return. We should enjoy the miracle of love that allows us to be glad when something happens that we can rejoice over. And we should be glad, again, if those whom we love have lost everything except our love, because at least they won’t be left with nothing. At least they’ll have our love and we won’t deprive them of it.
