The institution’s the cup and the person’s the water within the cup. The institution’s the surround and the person’s the content of the thing. The institution’s the leaves and the person’s the fruit of the tree. The institution’s the formal expression and the person’s the essence of the thing. The prime value is the person. The institution’s validated by the person. If people don’t live conscientiously and if they ignore their role in institutions, then these automatically lose any value they have.
