GRIBOI’s 27th Annual Conference

It is our pleasure to invite you to GRIBOI’s 27th annual conference,

In Athens, Greece from 18-21 May 2017.

For many years the GRIBOI association, under M. Bohner’ s successful presidency, has been bringing together the Basic Sciences in Chemistry, Bioengineering and Biocompatibility, in collaboration with Medical Doctors from Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgeons and Orthopedics, allowing us as a group to step into the future of new biocompatible devices and materials for percutaneous interventions.

Our 2017 meeting will be held in partnership with the “Hellenic Society of Nanotechnology in Health Sciences” aiming to focus upon three major pillars: Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Image Guided Therapy and Injectable Materials.

We want to enhance your experience in the world of existing solutions, but also explore potential future materials in applied sciences and look into bright new endeavors. GRIBOI’ s selection of courses and exhibits will focus on existing and future technical solutions in Nanotechnology, Composite Materials, Bio-absorbable and Bio-compatible Materials, 3-D Device printing, Interventional Image Guided solutions, Personalized Medicine and more. There has never been a more exciting time for innovation or a more fulfilling time in terms of our potential impact on the development of new concepts, but also in the delineation of existing treatments.

Aspiring vendors will be able to show their ideas, young scientists to promote their talent and companies to explore the possibility to invest in the present and the future. Both the world of applied sciences and the medical world stand to benefit from such a meeting since both groups can get a glimpse of the other side, offering an unmatched experience to learn, witness and collaborate in order to promote the health of the patients.

This year’s meeting, taking place in Athens, Greece from 18-21 May 2017, will offer unparalleled opportunities for networking with colleagues and luminaries from around the globe. Consultants and young scientists together with industry in a common ground on Percutaneous Image Guided Therapies, will have the chance to explore a new world with ground breaking science.
