Hesychasm isn’t only for monastics and those who have renounced the world, it’s for every real Christian. Hesychasm is an internal state, it’s both ‘dwelling continuously in God and clarity of the mind’. Hesychasm is the way in which the room of the heart is revealed. This is the center of our existence; what we might call the person.
