What is it?

Christ won’t love us if we aren’t worthy of being loved by him. In order to love us, he has to find something special within us. You want, you ask, you try, you supplicate and you get nothing. You prepare yourself to be there where Christ wants you, so that divine grace can enter into you, but it can’t unless it finds what we need to have. And what is this? Humility. Unless there’s humility, we can’t love Christ.
