We’d be mad

In the Church we carry out research. The best researchers are the saints The saints arrived, tested all the data and started out with precisely this research goal: ‘Does God exist?’. If he does, let’s test him, let’s investigate him; if he doesn’t, we’ll reject him. We’d have to be really stupid people, and very pathetic, if we carried out this task based on merely a likelihood, on simply the possibility, that God might exist. If we’re not only one hundred per cent but one million per cent convinced of God’s existence, from the experience of our heart, then we’d have to be mad to follow Christ and the gospel.
