The first church in Cyprus consecrated to Venerable Paisios the Hagiorite
The first church in Cyprus consecrated to Venerable Paisios the Hagiorite is in the neighbourhood of Ekali, in the city of Limassol.
Metropolitan Athanassios of Limassol and Nikolaos, bishop of Amathoúndos consecrated the new church.
The church has three altars, one dedicated to Venerable Paisios, one to Saint Arsenios of Cappadocia and one to Saints Varachisios and Jonah, the protectors of the home-village of Saints Paisios and Arsenios.
